Bio
I specialize in helping pension employees plan their transition into retirement. I'm passionate about understanding client goals and finding strategies to achieve them in a tax-efficient manner. Making the transition into retirement after a lifetime of working can be stressful, and it gives me great satisfaction to help clients navigate this change confidently.
I work on a fee-for-service basis which allows me to provide unbiased advice to my clients with no sales pressure.
Typical clients:
- Are within 5 years of their desired retirement date
- Have defined benefit or defined contribution pensions
- Want to know if they can afford to retire, or want to know what their budget will be in retirement.
- Have questions about when to start receiving CPP/OAS and how to draw down their registered investments in a tax-efficient way.
- Some are financially savvy and have done their own independent planning, but would like a second opinion before making the jump into retirement.
