Ahmed Mahiyan

I am the CEO and Financial Planner at FIRE Financial Inc. FIRE Financial is an independent financial planning firm providing unbiased advice to achieve financial independence. I mostly focus on pre-retirees and retirees, Muslim clients, and healthcare professionals. I am a fiduciary Financial Planner which means I have to put clients' interests ahead of mine.

I teach financial planning courses part-time at Seneca College. Previously, I worked at two of Canada's "Big 5 Banks", where I advised clients to achieve their investment needs and retirement goals. I focused on bringing outside investment and growing the branch book size in these roles.

I completed a thesis-based master's degree in Finance and a bachelor's degree in Economics. I am a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) & Chartered Market Technician (CMT) charter holder and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) professional. I previously held Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Personal Financial Planner (PFP) designations.
