What makes a good financial strategy? For starters, it's having enough to retire. Just as important, though, are managing risk, protecting assets, balancing multiple goals, managing debt, considering tax benefits . . . and more. This is the kind of heavy lifting that I love to do, so clients can focus instead on the things they enjoy. I meet regularly with each client to review our progress and any recommendations. They know to expect a caring, relaxed environment, allowing our conversations about life's possibilities and financial decisions to flow comfortably and naturally. I believe in long-term relationships so that, come what may over the years, I can serve as a financial advisor and a friend to help clients stay on the path toward success. Ultimately, my goal is that each client is comfortable putting their trust in me because I've earned it. I have a 20+ year history in the financial services and insurance industry, helping individuals, their families and small business owners build and follow the (often complex) financial strategies that empower them to live their best lives. It's not just the experience, but the education that helps me serve clients completely and effectively. In addition to my MBA, I've earned the professional designations of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®). I work in partnership with Robyn Braybrook-Gard who is a Senior Brand Office Administrator with 10+ years of experience with Edward Jones. Together we make an energetic and efficient team that helps clients reach their goals. On a personal level, I originally hail from Halifax, Nova Scotia and now live in LaSalle with my wife, twin daughters and our cat Sebastian. Now I want to hear about you and what you value. Let's see how I might do some heavy lifting so that you can spend your time living your life rather than planning how to finance it.
