I am a Financial Planner at Nextgen Financial Planning Inc. Nextgen Financial Planning Inc. is a registered Portfolio Manager in the Province of ON. BC. AB and QC, opting to do business as an Advice Only Fiduciary Financial Planning firm with security advice capability. We provide actionable investment recommendations along with robust financial and tax planning which are easy to implement by the client on their self-directed accounts. We focus on keeping financial planning at the center of our conversation and adding investment consultancy to meet the client's objectives. I also run FIRE Financial Inc. where I help clients who do not qualify for high-net-worth advisors using the robo-advisor platform Nest Wealth. Previously, I taught financial planning courses at Seneca College and worked at two of Canada's "Big 5 Banks", where I advised clients to achieve their investment needs and retirement goals. I focused on bringing outside investment and growing the branch book size in these roles. Academically, I completed a thesis-based master's degree in Finance from the University of Saskatchewan and a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Dhaka. I am a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) & Chartered Market Technician (CMT) charter holder and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) professional. I previously held Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Personal Financial Planner (PFP) designations. I recently passed the CFP exam in the US and am in the process of obtaining the designation.
